Walking has many health benefits and it does not cost a thing to do it. For your health and motivation, be determined to fit walking into your schedule even if you can't find the time to do anything else. However, first make sure you have a full physical and get permission from your doctor to engage in this activity. Also, for safety reasons, especially if you are a female, find a safe neighborhood, or a populated park to walk in where there are plenty of other people around. You can also form a walking club with your neighbors, or friends to make it fun. Make it a goal to be accountable to each other to walk at least three times a week. It's great exercise for your heart, can reduce stress, as well as lower your blood pressure, and help you lose weight if you walk consistently. We have included some of our favorite health gadgets on our website which you may find useful in your fitness endeavors. Most of all, just get out and walk. It's fun and it's free!

Good features all in one watch!,
I was looking for a heart rate watch with pedometer function and this pretty much fits the bill. It also has timer and stopwatch functions and is quite accurate. I did not want a chest band style and really like the convenience of this watch. I am female with rather large wrist (most standard bands too snug) and this was actually large on me. Its a bit tricky to go from timer mode to the pedometer mode to monitor distance & speed while jogging but very easy to take a quick heart rate reading. Displays heart rate with percentage of maximum HR and indicator for hi or lo range. One minor down side is that the timer & pedometer modes must be cleared between workouts and does not store the previous data. Overall, I’m very happy with this product.

I got this watch to track my HR while on my treadmill. it works really well, large enough readout to see clearly while walking or running, easy to use while doing either. I did find it a little difficult to set the different modes on the watch. but overall a great watch.

|inaccurate, and lousy directions; tech support good but …..,
The pedometer was very inaccurate, and the instructions were lacking. Technical support answered the call promptly, but had no answer for the inaccuracy of the pedometer. Simply put, the item is a great idea, but put together lousy. I returned the item for a refund.

|Very reliable pedometer,
Just purchaced my 2nd Digi-Walker SW-701 pedometer because I lost the hinge pin on the one I have been using since 2005. I used a piece of wire to replace the pin but decided to keep this as a spare and purchace a new one. My prevous SW-701 has been very accurate and even continued to function after I accidently went into the water with it on. I used it everyday since 6/2005. Have had the new one for over a month and it seems to function as well as the old one.
