Perfect!!,
I bought as a gift to my mother, she has high blood pressure and needed to go to her doctor office every monday to measure it. Now she can do it every day and her doctor said that OMRON is a reliable brand. I recommend.

Omron HEM 705CP BPM Easily the best,
I purchased my first Omron HEM 705CP Blood Pressure Monitor with the attached printer about seven years ago. It proved to be reliable and accurate, and the consistent readings it provided closely matched what my doctor saw in the office visits. My mother-in-law began using it after having heart problems, and because she has virtually monopolized it since, I found it necessary to purchase another one. Both my doctor and my mother-in-law’s doctor have been very pleased with the results this monitor provides. This beats every other BPM I’ve ever tried! Wouldn’t buy anything else.

Why did they discontinue it?,
This is a great little device. It does come with a smallish arm band but it works flawlessly and it appears to be the only model made anywhere with its own printer. I have had one for 5 years and just wanted another and it appears Omron has discontinued it. What to do now… if you buy one, you’ll love it.

Good for heart-rate, not for real EKG,
Pros: very portable and very easy to use. Cons: Lots of noise in the reading, no adjustment for signal amplitude. Impossible to get any useful information on P-R, QRS, or other intervals. P waves almost invisible.
If all you want is something to take your pulse, and give you a rate and regularity report, this is fine. Not for any real diagnostic use.

RN for 17 years,
I’ve been a cardiac nurse for 17 years, cath lab, CCU, CSU and ER. A patient of mine showed me this and I tried it out, simple, no pads, no gel, and in a few seconds I was watching my cardiac rhythm on this little monitor! Absolutely amazing! I didn’t even know that these little gadgets were out there. I will get one to have for emergencies but I am shopping around for price. THIS model worked great!

Simple & Effective,
Excellent product, getting readable ecgs an absolute breeze. The battery life is very good and the removable sd storage makes upload & analysis very simple. The software is extremely straightforward, it would be great if there were some form of onscreen measurement available but all in all I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this monitor.
